Morning!
I'm reaching out to see if anyone has configured a variable mileage rate in Concur and can help me with a question? What are we wanting to achieve is that mileage for the first 350 miles will be reimbursed at the full IRS rate, and all mileage over 350 miles will be reimbursed at a reduced rate. I know how to set this up in the Car Configuration tool, but my question comes around the "Period for Distance Limits" dropdown for which there are only the choices of Monthly, Quarterly, and Annually. We don't want this to apply to mileage accrued over time, we want this to apply to each individual trip.
When we first implemented Concur back in 2020, we had a similar policy but the cap was 100 miles at the full rate. I know we had this configured at the time so I feel like what I'm wanting should be doable. Unfortunately, we discontinued that policy in 2021 and deleted the configuration so I can't go back and look at how we used to have it setup. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

Wish I could help - but we expense mileage differently; however, I am very impressed with you working knowledge of tools in Concur! I would love to attend a training/demonstration. Perhaps a "pre-session" at next year's conference?
Unfortunately, you likely need to open a case with them to find this answer. I don't know either.
Rebecca, I tried sending this to you yesterday, but it wouldn't post. I removed the screenshot links, so hopefully it works this time.
This should work if you set Accumulate Distance By to "Car Criteria." You then get the option to set different rates for under (and including) the limit and for over the limit.
Yes, that was it. This site won't let you post links.
