The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will soon be engaging in a bid process to 1) consolidate our Travel Agencies and 2) obtain an Online Booking Tool. Have any institutions recently undertaken either or both of these initiatives? Would you be willing to share your RFP or Scope of Work from the project? We are hoping to take advantage of this "quiet" travel time to make some much needed improvements to our Travel Program. Thanks!

Penn State did a RFP in 2016 to consolidate our travel agencies into one. Happy to email you the RFP if you would like.

How is this coming for you? Pitt consolidated from three agencies to one. I came on board to roll out the agency along with Concur for our online booking and expense tool. It hasn't been without hurdles but our program has come a long way. Please let me know if you ever want to get on the phone and chat. We are currently working on policy changes as well in the wake of Covid.

Thanks Emily and Teresa! I used both the example from Pitt and the RFP Template from SCTEM to help us craft ours. It's currently out to bid and we're looking forward to receiving responses in a few weeks!
