Morning, SCTEM Family!
I'm checking to see if any institutions have issued specific travel guidance as it relates to the fires in California? We're starting to get a lot of questions from our travelers and we've been directing them to our TMC for more information. Would love to here what others have in place regarding this.

Hi Rebecca,
Vanderbilt reached out to all LA travelers both in place and with future dated itineraries. We offered assistance from our TMC if they needed to change or cancel flights. In addition, for those in place we encouraged them to closely monitor the situation if they were in areas of concern, follow the guidance of state and local authorities, and to download the Watch Duty app - the helpful tool for people in areas affected by wildfires: https://www.watchduty.org/
