General question, when booking for Athletic teams or groups does your TMC charge per ticket, tiered transaction fees or a base fee(ranging from 10 -20 tickets)? Thanks for any feedback.

Our TMC charges $15 per ticket for group/team travel, a little less than the individual full service ticket fee of $18.

Hi, we have a contract with our TMC and pay a monthly fee as opposed to a per ticket fee. It works really well for us because we know what to budget for and simplifies bookings for all our travelers (including broader university).

Our TMC charges a flat per ticket rate. Doesn't matter if it's group or individual.

We pay a per ticket fee but only up to a $ limit per year. Allowing Athletics to set a finite budget amount for service fees per year.

Our TMC charges per ticket, but a discounted fee for groups of ten or more. I'm interested in what Geneva is doing, I'm going to look into that to make sure we are not over paying in the long run.

MSU also has a contract with our TMC and pay a monthly fee rather than a per ticket fee.

GW's TMC is paid a quarterly management fee to fulfill all Athletic Department travel transactions, including group (team) and transient travel.

Our group bookings (including Athletic groups) are charged a reduced flat fee per air ticket issued and change fees apply.
Our TMC (prior to COVID) was willing to offer our Athletics department a set management fee for the year, which would including a one-time annual charge and remove all per ticket fees and change fees.
The analysis I did between the two different pricing models showed the set annual management fee as more advantageous cost-wise and of course more convenient from a reconciliation preceptive.

We are TIERED depending on size of team ( group )
$20 for less than 10 travelers on 1 group reservation
$15 for 10 or more travelers on 1 group reservation

At NC A&T our TMC charges per ticket, (29.00( but a discounted fee for groups of ten or more (not just Athletics) $25.00.

We use CTP with the E&I Cooperative pricing which is per ticket. We pay the fees centrally as we mandate all university paid airfare be procured through Concur Travel or CTP agent. Our travelers do not see the fees it is paid on a monthly bases via an invoice.
